We can’t thank Optivet and specialist Claire Bradley and her team enough for looking after our little Nivvy after a traumatic eye injury last night. From the lovely nurse who dealt with my tears this morning on admission, to Donna for a cracking cup of tea and everyone who kept Nivvy safe under anaesthetic and during recovery, a heartfelt thank you. Your service is second to none and Nivvy is home and having all the cuddles she can stand thank you to your exceptional care.

Exceptional care, kindness, and professionalism you have shown to our dog and to us as his owners. Over the past few months, he has needed to visit Optivet a few times for eye intervention and treatment, and on each occasion we have been deeply impressed by the compassion, patience, and expertise shown by your team. What touched us most was the way Claire and Monica devoted their full attention to him — showing him love, cuddles, and gentle reassurance, just as we would have done ourselves. Knowing he was being treated with such tenderness and love meant more to us than we can express. They went above and beyond to make Jako feel safe and comfortable, and they also took the time to reassure and support us every step of the way. Their genuine care and understanding made what could have been a very stressful time so much easier. It means so much to know that our boy was in such capable and loving hands.

My lovely little tabby cat Phoebe was referred to optivets after sustaining an injury to her cornea from a cat scratch that wasnt healing. The first thing that completely put me at ease was their calm demeanour and caring nature towards her (also, me). I had a very in depth consultation and plan of action which made me feel very confident that Phoebe was receiving the best care. I had a follow up appointment today with a very positive outcome that she is going to make a full recovery. I cannot recommend enough. The reception team were also so welcoming and accommodating. Personally I dont think 5 stars are enough for the amazing staff at optivets! Our cat meeko has been anything but straightforward with his injury and recovery, and the all the staff have all been amazing!! Meeko clearly loves it as he wants to keep going back. Thank you for all the time and effort.

Everything about Optivet in Totnes was five stars. Claire dealt with our dog for his surgery and we couldn’t have felt more at ease. She made us and our dog feel so comfortable throughout the whole process. She was absolutely brilliant at what she does & clearly cared. Communication throughout the day was perfect. We really couldn’t fault the care our dog was given here & would highly recommend.
